“Red Journey with Two Perspectives” – is the culmination of works that derive from Leung's Hong Kong and Australian cultural experience. Leung's artworks explore the experience of members of the Chinese diaspora many of whom have left their homeland to seek new lives and opportunities in different parts of the world. That experience is reflected in her own journey from Hong Kong to Australia 40 years ago and the sense of displacement she has often felt as a person living between two cultures.

Leung has used installation art as a platform and employed the simplification of form as an aesthetic device for her practice.
